Training Series Impact: World of Office 365

In 2023 (JAN – DEC), QDI Global designed and delivered World of Office 365, a comprehensive, year-long training series created to build technology capacity among North Carolina Courts staff and volunteers. The initiative was informed by a formal needs assessment conducted in collaboration with court leadership to ensure alignment with operational priorities and user skill gaps.

Rolled out across all 100 counties in North Carolina, the series reached more than 4,000 staff and volunteers, strengthening system-wide proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools. Training was delivered through a flexible synchronous, asynchronous, and hybrid model, with monthly sessions over a 12-month period, each focused on a targeted application or use case.

Topics included Introduction to PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, Excel, OneNote for the Workplace, Word for Court Reporting, and Microsoft Forms. This structured, scalable approach enabled consistent skill development, improved digital workflows, and long-term technology adoption across a diverse, statewide court system.
